Our class did some work with visual poetry. We looked at ways we could enhance our poems through images, text choice, and color. Students had to generate their own writing, but could use and alter images they found through Creative Commons. To celebrate our learning we are holding a visual poetry contest. Students were able to submit their best visual poem, and we are now opening up voting to all our visitors. There are some prizes on the line for the top vote-getters (Voting ends next week Monday, March 10th at 9:00 am). All you have to do is scroll through the submissions and note the entry number in the caption. Use the poll below to record your vote for the best visual poetry submission.
